Birthing Bed

With some 6,000 annual births, Western Galilee Hospital has the busiest delivery room in the north of Israel. Significant population growth in the Western Galilee has naturally increased the number of women giving birth whose needs the hospital must meet. Birthing beds are designed for the special needs of women in labor, as well as to enable midwives and nurses to better assist in the delivery room. (more…)

Infusion/IV pumps for Intensive Care Unit

The Need
The infusion pump is designed for the delivery of fluids, medications, blood and blood products using continuous or intermittent delivery for adult, pediatric or neonatal patients. Infusion delivery can occur via clinically acceptable routes of administration (e.g., intravenous, intra-arterial, subcutaneous, epidural, enteral or irrigation of fluid spaces). (more…)

Women’s Health Wing Ultrasound Scanner

The ultrasound scanner is one of the most vital pieces of equipment in the Women’s Health Wing. It is in constant use in all the women’s units – obstetrics, gynecology, maternity, high risk pregnancy, and emergency department. Because the ultrasound scanners are in use 24/7, the wear and tear on them is enormous. Existing scanners are frequently too old to be repaired and must be replaced. The chronic shortage of ultrasound scanners has become a serious concern. (more…)
