The Washington Jewish Week published a great story about Syrian patients, and the doctors at the Western Galilee Hospital, who care for them. With more than 100,000 people killed in the Syrian civil war and another 2.5 million having fled the country, the handful who have been treated in Israel is a drop in the bucket, but as Dr. Barhoum is quoted, “But to save even one life, for us, this is to save an entire world.” Read the rest of the story here.
