GMC is committed to making world class health care accessible to all.

As part of that effort, GMC brings informative and engaging programming into the community.  Earlier this week, GMC staff and volunteers made its presence known at the popular Akko Mall.  Activities included free blood sugar and blood pressure testing, as well as medically approved advice on diet and nutrition, child development, pregnancy and In Vitro Fertilization.  A mini, life-saving course on CPR was also offered.  Thousands of people passed through the variety of booths and enjoyed health related activities for the entire family, such as a Healthy Sushi workshop and medical clowns engaging with children. Among the visitors were Mayor Shimon Lankry and MK Zoheir Bahaloul, a resident of Akko, who joined Dr. Massad Barhoum, Head of Galilee Medical Center.
