The Christian Science Monitor was commended on Camera.org (Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America) for an article praising the humanitarian efforts of Israel in treating wounded Syrians, a country that technically, Israel is still at war with. The original CSM article can be read here.
An article on al-monitor.com highlighted the difficulty the WGH staff face in treated wounded Syrians, especially children. Doctors are seeing a particularly insidious wound, a single sniper shot to the spine of children. The would paralyzes and is designed to cause suffering.
